This is a fine example of a traditional 18th century longhouse. In days gone by the family would have shared the accommodation under one roof with their domestic animals.

The animals would have been housed at the lower end, with the family occupying a slightly higher level removed from them. The animals have long gone from their quarters, which has now been transformed into a spacious lounge complete with gallery.

The former family quarters now boast a large family type kitchen complete with an oil-fired AGA and all modern amenities.

Large farmhouse kitchen with oil-fired AGA, hand-built wooden kitchen units, retro smeg fridge freezer, microwave, 2 ring electrical hob, dishwasher. Large refectory table, long bench, 3 chairs, cushioned wall seating, wall mounted digital TV. Large antique glass fronted cupboard, oak stable doors leading out to the garden.

2 Bedrooms
1 twin, 1 double antique iron bed, built in wardrobes. Bedlinen provided.

Bathrooms
Victorian country style bath with hand held shower, oak and slate floor, toilet and basin.

Sitting Room
Large comfortable sofa and chairs, multifuel stove,large digital TV, DVD, antique oak chest, writing table, wall lined book shelves.

Garden & Parking
Private, lawned garden to the side of the property and car parking.
